From concept idea to realized architecture, the Mestia Airport Terminal showcases LSG Solutions’ ability to translate vision into landmark design. The Mestia Airport Terminal reflects LSG Solutions’ multidisciplinary approach to design, encompassing architecture, structure, MEP engineering, façade and lighting design, and landscape planning. The building is defined by its complex structural solutions, featuring expressive geometry and skylights with in-built heated glass that ensure year-round functionality in the harsh mountain climate.
The concept merges modern functionality with the natural beauty of Svaneti’s mountain landscape, resulting in a terminal that is both bold and contextually sensitive.
This blend of bold design and engineering precision has attracted international media recognition. In addition to Dezeen, the project has been featured in Global Traveler as well as Inheritage, elevating the terminal as both a regional infrastructure landmark and a celebrated example of contemporary Georgian architecture.
