"Radio City" - Tbilisi's new project: proud to be a part of it!

LSG Solutions is overseeing the transformation of the former radio factory in Gldani-Mukhiani into "Radio City," a vibrant hub for Tbilisi’s creative industries. This project emphasizes extensive co-working spaces and offices, ensuring financial integrity and stability for TBC Bank and Bank of Georgia.

Adjara Collective leads the renovation, focusing on sustainability and innovation. Radio City spans 118,000 m² and will significantly benefit the Gldani, Mukhiani, and Temka communities by fostering growth, collaboration, and knowledge exchange.

LSG Solutions Team Completes Intensive Technical Seminar in Bratislava

The LSG Solutions team participated in a three-day seminar hosted by Company Elevate on EPDM and TPO systems.

Through detailed presentations and hands-on sessions, they mastered advanced roofing techniques and received Certificates of Accomplishment for their dedication and expertise.

LSG Solutions Architects Win Competition for New Mestia Airport Terminal Design

Green Studio emerged as the winner among 18 contenders in the competition to design the new terminal at Mestia Airport. The project was led by LSG Solution's architects Nino Grigolashvili and Teona Gogoladze, with their architectural concept earning them the top spot.

Nino Grigolashvili shared her thoughts on the significance of the project, saying, "I believe it is symbolic that the new terminal at an airport named after King Tamar has a female architect. I drew inspiration from Tamar's clothing when designing the building."

The new Mestia Airport terminal, set to be constructed this year and completed by 2025, will be a modern, single-story structure. Its design features an open layout that effectively integrates departure and arrival areas for a seamless traveler experience.

LSG team at Free Uni Job Fair

LSG Solutions participated in the Free Uni job fair on April 18th.

We engaged with new students, discussing our work culture standards and presenting job vacancies. Additionally, we hosted a small competition at our stand, which attracted many students, and we even awarded a couple of winners.

ConstrucThon 2.0 at Kaspi Technopark

ConstrucThon 2.0 at Kaspi Technopark concluded with great success.

With the participation of over 65 individuals, this event showcased a collective effort to generate innovative solutions to prevalent construction challenges.

We are happy to share that our talented Project Manager, Mariam Janelidze was a mentor in the construction and development sector; Mariam provided professional guidance, steering participants through a journey marked by technological advancements and innovation.

After an intensive 36 hours of collaboration, 17 projects covering a spectrum of topics were presented to the jury. These ranged from developing pioneering building materials to establishing innovative platforms connecting builders, architects, and clients. 

ConstrucThon 2.0 was more than just a hackathon; it symbolized a convergence of expertise and innovation shaping the construction industry's future.

First working meeting for contestants

On October 12, the first working meeting for contestants was held in the pavilion of the old film studio. Representatives from both companies spoke about the building and introduced the public to the technical task.

The meeting was a great success, with the participants' high engagement. Here is the visual story of how an architectural contest's first meeting was held on October 12 in the old film studio.

During the question-and-answer session, participants raised various issues related to the competition, including zoning regulations, environmental impact, and preservation of historical elements. The representatives answered all the questions, providing helpful insights and guidance to the participants. The New Life Of "Old Film Studio"

SODI Investment and LSG Solutions began preparing for the Old Cinema City architectural competition in May 2023.

The first working meeting for contestants was held on October 12th at the old film studio pavilion. Sophia Kereselidze of SODI Investment opened the event, followed by presentations from LSG Solutions team members Teona Gogoladze and Sandro Baliashvili. Afterward, participants engaged in a question-and-answer session to discuss relevant issues for the architectural competition.

Renovation of Tbilisi Mall

The renovation process will be led by LSG Solutions and construction works will be carried out by Metta • მეტტა. The public spaces of the shopping center, which cover four floors, will be renewed, and the lighting system and interior will be improved.

All international safety standards will be followed during the renovation to ensure the mall functions flawlessly and receives visitors smoothly. The main works will be carried out at night, so as not to disrupt normal business hours.

A new project in the healthcare sector! 🏥

The HVAC Design of Caucasus Medical Center was carried out according to the international healthcare standard and methodology. 📑 

The Caucasus Medical Center is a multidisciplinary hospital that offers the population of the region high-tech, innovative, diagnostic, and therapeutic methodologies based on the latest medical research.

"Green Cape Botanico" is completed

Our team has completed the "Green Cape Botanico" project.

We are proud to have contributed to this innovative and unique concept and hope it sets an example for future endeavors. The project's positive impact on the community is eagerly anticipated.

Rooms Hotel Abastumani

🏨 As a result of the reconstruction of the "Arazindo" sanatorium built in 1924 in Abastumani, Rooms Hotel will open a new hotel - Rooms Abastumani. 

🤝 The LSG solutions team is also involved in the restoration-reconstruction process. The works will be carried out in such a way as to preserve the historical appearance of the building.

LSG workshop at US Independence Day picnic

🇺🇸 🎆 On July 1, the AmCham held an event dedicated to US Independence Day in cooperation with the American Embassy.  At the American-style picnic, in addition to food and drink stands, several entertainment attractions and mini-performances for children were organized.🪁

The LSG Solutions team, as an active member of AmCham, took part in the picnic and organized an interesting workshop where the little guests could choose and assemble the three constructions they wanted. 👷

We are glad that we were one of the supporters of this picnic and hosted guests of all ages.

The new life of "OLD FILM STUDIO"

"Sodi Investment" is pleased to announce that the renovation-development process of the "Old Film Studio" building and its surrounding area, located on Agmashenebeli Avenue in Tbilisi, has entered an active phase.

Based on the cultural and historical importance of the "Old Film Studio" building, "Sodi Investment" decided to organize an architectural competition, for which the company selected the construction management company "LSG Solutions," which has experience working with international architects and experts.

Panel Discussion | LSG Conference

 A panel discussion was conducted as part of the LSG Solutions Conference, where Georgian and foreign experts discussed the importance of introducing modern practices and approaches in construction processes and raising the design standard.

The main issues discussed at the conference were the management of construction projects and the improvement of the existing competence and standard in the Georgian market.

LSG Solutions provides “Telegraph” Lenders engineering service, which involves effective management of construction planning and implementation process, expected risks, and project transparency. LSG Solutions will coordinate and supervise the effective use of the financial resources provided by TBC and the Bank of Georgia and, as a result, will make a significant contribution to the successful implementation of the project.

Joint Job Fair of San Diego State University

Video 📹  On April 27, the Biltmore Hotel hosted the second Joint Job Fair. SDSU-Georgia and its partner universities organized the Fair for public and private companies.

The Job Fair was opened by Giorgi Amilakhvari, the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Halil Güven, the Dean of SDSU-Georgia, and Magda Maghradze, the CEO of the Millennium Challenge Account-Georgia, along with the rectors of the partner universities.

Around 60 organizations attended the Job Fair. The fair aims to connect employers with successful students enrolled in internationally accredited SDSU programs and its partner universities for future employment and internship.

AmCham Members' Only Luncheon with the U.S Ambassador to Georgia

LSG Solutions Management team had an opportunity to attend Luncheon with the US Ambassador to Georgia H.E. Kelly C. Degnan at The Biltmore Hotel Tbilisi. The ambassador discussed US-Georgia relations as well as current issues in Georgia, the United States and the wider region. The presentation was followed by a lively Q+A, which covered a wide range of issues.

The first construction and development sector employment forum was held in Georgia! 👏🏗

At ExpoGeorgia, we met many interesting job seekers and students, talked about our company and projects. We introduced the current vacancies and internship program.

Porsche Center Tbilisi

Watch how the new Showroom and Service Center of Porsche Center Tbilisi was built. Full construction management was provided by LSG solutions. The total area of the showroom and service center of the German premium brand is 2,628 m². The construction process lasted for 9 months in total.

San Diego University Job Fair

San Diego State University Georgia organized the first joint employment forum with partner universities: Tbilisi State University, Ilia State University and Georgian Technical University.

We had an opportunity to meet interesting and talented students at the forum. We introduced our company and current vacancies.

The 6.6 km long tunnel was drilled

 A medium-sized hydropower plant is being built in the Samegrelo region of Georgia, according to the order of the Georgian Investment Group—Energy (GIGE). The installed capacity of the HPP is 46 MW. The 6.6 km long tunnel was drilled with modern technology by TBM (Tunnel Boring Machine). The owner’s engineering scope is under Multiconsult UK, which together with the LSG Solutions local team is responsible for monitoring the work and ensuring that the construction is carried out with quality.
